There is always something happening at the farm, and groups are always weclome.  We offer Educational Opportunities, Service Opportunities, & Fundraisers.

EDUCATION

We like to think of the farm as one giant outdoor classroom we can share with your students.  We have hosted many groups and will work with you to meet precise California content standards specific to your students’ grade level.  The students believe they are out of class on a fun field trip, but the experience allows them to see classroom content in action.  It reinforces lessons already being taught in the classroom in a safe, fun environment.

Depending on the season, we offer educational tours through our

    • Pumpkin Patch
    • Corn Field/Maze
    • Chicken Coops
    • Boysenberry Crop

 SERVICE

Looking for a team building excercise?  How about a way to give back to the community?  Groups volunteer to help raise a specific crop for a season.  The farm then donates a portion of the crop to a community food bank to help feed local families.  The groups enjoy working together, receive an education, and give back to their neighborhood all at the same time (with no cost to the group).

What types of things might a group help with?

    • Soil preperation
    • Seed planting
    • Plant maintenance
    • Harvesting crops
    • Gathering & cleaning eggs
    • Pulling weeds (okay, so we tried)

 FUNDRAISING

Every year we use our Fall Pumpkin Patch as a fundraiser for local groups.  We have worked with churches, youth groups, missions teams, clubs, boy scouts, and schools.  The group volunteers to staff the event for the day, and the farm donates a portion of the day’s sales to the group.  It is a great way for our community to work together to support each other.  Groups enjoy this fundraiser because there is no cost to the group, and the farm provides all the training.

We can custom tailor our events to fit your group.  Write a reply at the bottom of the page and let us know what we can do for your group.
